Dried Cloves

Sri Lankan cloves, known locally as Karabu Neti, are harvested from the lush spice gardens of the island’s central hills. Ceylon cloves are globally recognized for being exceptionally rich in eugenol, the essential oil responsible for their signature warm, sweet, and slightly peppery flavor. Unlike mass-produced varieties, our cloves are handpicked at just the right moment—before the flower buds bloom—and sun-dried to a deep reddish-brown. This careful process ensures that each bud retains its full potency, making them an indispensable ingredient in Sri Lankan meat curries, rice dishes, and traditional medicine.
